Wedding FAQ

  • Yes you can purchase raws. We are happy to deliver it but its needed to communicate that it's messy and typically something for those who are; or plan to store the footage to later work with someone who is advanced in video editing, familiar with recording codecs and their file wrappers , non linear editing platforms and have extensive computer knowledge of data, computer components (such as proper storage, RAM, CPU , and GPU) without proper knowledge most of our footage does not work with general consumer programs directly out of camera.

Also Note: We record audio separately through lav mics, recorders aswell as the DJ booth and then synch the audio to the video after the fact. Raw footage does not include synching audio.

You can ignore this disclaimer if it doesn't apply to you.

  • It is best to book 6-12 months in advance to ensure that we are available.

After 6 months our schedules become significantly more limited with our busiest months being September - November

We suggest that you still reach out regardless and we’ll let you know our availability and can help you find someone if we are unable.

  • Yes we do! Our policy covers up to 2 million. Contact us and we can provide a COI if your venue requires it.

  • Proofs typically become available 4-6 months after the wedding. However, we are passionate about the work and we will often share teasers that we are personally excited about, if we are able.

We know you are eager to see them and do our best to get them to you. We pride ourselves on our post processing so we just want to do the best job possible.

  • Payment plans can be arranged, but may alter the time in which you receive your deliverables. The plan can start at booking and extend until several months after the wedding, depending on what we discuss. Reach out to us if this is something that could help you budget your day more reasonably. Weddings are expensive

  • We typically recommend at least 2 Shooters per package. Be it photo or video, having an alternative angle is strongly recommended for two reasons.

One: events like weddings are highly unpredictable. Having an alternative angle helps minimize the risk of missing coverage. (especially for video)

Two: a photographer can only cover one angle at a time. So If they are covering the grooms reaction they cant necessarily get the bride walking down the isle simultaneously.

  • We do. We require a 50% deposit upon booking. Then the remaining balance 15 days prior to the event. This is to ensure we have fund for gear and crew.

  • We keep a close network of professional photographers and filmmakers.

In the very rare situation we are unable to be at your wedding as contracted, we will reach out for replacements the moment it becomes a concern. We still handle the editing and post processing so you still get the same look and feel.

It is unlikely it will happen, but we are always fully prepared.

  • We do work out of state, our general rule of thumb is that at over 90 minutes of travel we begin looking at lodging and transportation.

We consider two factors which are; the travel to your event and the travel back home. Lodging before your event minimizes potential delays caused by a long commute. Lodging the night of the event ensures the safety of our staff and us.

Fees are subject to the distance and the surrounding area.

Driving becomes more treacherous after a 10 hour wedding day, and lodging allows us to safely rest before getting behind the wheel.

  • Yes! We include a standard print release in our contracts. We do recommend you print with us if you want to ensure the highest quality but we over digital images in all of our wedding packages and provide a print release for you to print as many as you would like.

  • A typical wedding consists of 2-3 locations within close proximity. It is important to keep in mind the amount of travel within the day that your crew needs to pack and unpack each time.
