Color is a major aspect of our work flow. We enjoy taking the time to style our images and to bring out all the colors and tones that naturally exist (and even some that don’t). We are precise and very detail oriented. Skipping color grading is a huge mistake for a video creator to make. Color is what bonds your audience’s eyes to the screen and your story.

Why take such beautiful shots if you aren’t going to display them in their best light?

 What is our process?

Before any editing starts, we discus your project to establish everything you need to deliver to your clients and the state of your current footage. Ideally we’d like to see visual samples of the work that you’ve done in the past, and/or the work that you aspire to create.

Then we can create an estimate for you, based on the scope of the project.

Are there any additional fees?

We’ll send an estimate based on what would be more or less an ideal environment. Let’s say that you want a full cut of your ceremony, speeches, dances, etc. The ceremony is quoted at 30 minutes long. We’ll quote you assuming that you have 2-3 uncut cameras, clean audio, and moderately organized files that we can find easily.

If for example, your Second Shooter decided that he was particularly trigger happy that day, and ending up spamming the record button for the whole ceremony. Or maybe the officiant had a particularly wordy speech, running an extra 20 minutes.

Don’t worry!

We’ll let you know immediately of what is potentially going to delay your project in any way, so that you can evaluate whether it’s worth the extra money or not. We log all of our hours and can always work within your budget to help deliver a project file.

What if I can’t afford it?

We understand! We’ll always let you know what we can do to help. Maybe you don’t mind editing, but synching up all of your clips and organizing footage is a real bore? It’s always possible to make your deliverable more cost effective, and then adjust accordingly for your next project. Or maybe you just need Proxy Files setup, so you can edit smoothly on your laptop at home?
