Cassidy's Review
We had the best experience with Danny! He was thorough and communicative during the planning process. Day of, he made us feel completely comfortable and spared no detail. If there are specific moments you'd like photographed, rest assured that he will capture them. He'll also coach you through some other really lovely shots, make wonderful suggestions around background and lighting, and take the best candids. Danny is professional, kind, and knows what he's doing. I cannot recommend him highly enough - stop looking, just book him! - Cassidy
How use shutter-drag in your wedding photography
Shutter-drag is a technique to capture streaks of light by slowing the shutter while using a flash. It can be a tough technique to master but when you nail one it's incredibly rewarding.
The best way is to identify without the flash which lights you want to see. Prioritize keeping your iso lower so that you can keep your shutter slow enough that when you move the camera you get motion blur.
Next you want to set your flash. A shutter drag is almost like a double exposure and the subject is exposed first with the flash. The flash preserves the moment and then the extended shutter adds streaks to the image using lighting fixtures and other light sources.
The trick is to keep the photos from becoming too obscure. Every time I take a shutter drag I flick my wrist in a single direction or snap the zoom and plan the route so that the lights don't trail through the subjects face. It's not always easy to avoid. Playing around with how you move the camera and how fast you set your shutter is an engaging way to spend the end of an event.
If you are using a zoom lens try zooming in right after you snap the shutter and it creates a tunnel like effect.

“Danny is amazing!
There's so much to say about Danny! From start to finish he was professional, easy going, incredibly creative, and made us feel comfortable in front of the camera. We were so pleased with how he managed our entire wedding that we even brought him along for our after party! His photos are so romantically natural and beautiful. He truly captures the realness of each moment. You will not be disappointed when choosing Timeline Images, and I would recommend Danny to every single person I know looking for a photographer. “
What a fun couple. The ceremony and reception was at The Club at Picatinny After they stabbed their cake they strongly suggested I come to the afterparty. How could I refuse? Wishing them the best!
Taylor's Review
Danny and his team were everything and more when it came to making my wedding day photo dreams come true. Danny went about and beyond with each step to ensure he knew what we were looking for out of our wedding photos, and that we felt comfortable with each part of the process. His consultation before the wedding and then again the morning of the wedding with me (the bride) made me feel confident in knowing all pictures I wanted would be captured. Danny and Tom(our second photographer) had such an eye for perfect lighting and shots of things I wouldn't have even thought of. Payment was easy and it was worth every single cent. The editing on each one of our pictures is beautiful and brought tears to my eyes. I would suggest Timeline Images to everyone looking for wedding photographer that is professional yet very personal all at the same time! Thank you again Danny!

Cassidy & Tom's Visual Timeline
They got married last fall in a cemetery chapel up in New Hampshire. Cassidy is a big history buff and loved it for it’s deep rooted history.
She also did all of the décor for her reception at their humble New Hampshire home and it was top notch.
Cassidy and I go way back. I was visiting her in Boston when she went on her first night out this handsome devil.
We were high school friends and I know first hand how tough she is, as a teen I distinctly remember a fast ball pitch of an indestructible cellphone ricocheting off my head, and then not much after… Needless to say it was 100% well deserved because Cassidy is the sweetest and most kind homebody of a human being you will ever meet and Tom is her equivalent.

(Which knowing Cassidy it’s no suprise. Making candles and décor is right up her alley especially with her new venture Stinson Provisions. If you can believe it ;) she farms Bees and makes candles and other goods from the wax and honey.)
Their wedding was casual but had just enough formality to get everyone in their best Sunday pants to hit the dance floor. I was really excited to have been able to shoot their wedding and Im so happy for them!
Congrats Tom and Cassidy!

Alyse's Review
Timeline Visuals has been everything were were hoping for and more. Danny took the time to get to know my fiance and I, and really listen to what we were looking for in both engagement photos and on our wedding day. When we hastily planned a wedding ceremony with immediate family, 6 months before our scheduled "wedding day," Danny was there with four days notice, ready to capture the moment with family members who sadly will not be there on our day in July. He went out of his way, and above and beyond what we were expecting. After seeing the incredible job Danny and his assistant have done at our "1st wedding," we feel completely confident and incredibly excited to see how Danny's talent and eye capture our "2nd wedding" with everyone we love! The consultations Danny offers are another awesome part of the experience that we so valued, and couldn't imagine not having. We can't say enough good things about Timeline Images, and it's founder! We definitely recommend!

Allie's Review
“Danny helped create a wonderful wedding experience for my husband and I! He has a very calming presence that helped us not stress with photos being taken all day and night. He arrived early showing us that he is professional and he cares. Danny spent the entire afternoon taking pictures of the bridal party capturing every important detail which continued until the wedding ended. He came up with a ton of creative positions for the family pictures and had even more beautiful ideas for our solo shots when Kyle and I were alone. I would recommend Danny to anyone...I couldn't thank him enough!! “

Dana & Mikes beautiful New Jersey Wedding
Who says that backyard weddings can't be amazing? We certainly don't. You could tell that Dana took great care in decorating the backyard of her parents New Jersey home. The ceremony was under a triangle arbor, centered with the Highpoint Monument out into the distance.
Dana's psychic had previously told her that the cake would be destroyed on her wedding day.
Matt, the chef from The Brownstone, was pending surgery for his ACL and was also the only one available to walk the cake to the bride and groom. Against all odds, the cake not only made it out in one piece, but it was so indestructibly frozen that they could barely cut it.
Not even fate could stop this couples wedding.

(If you were at this wedding there is a guest album at the bottom of the article.)
I met Jenn through another photographer, and we initially had no idea that we had friends in common. In fact, Joey (My second shooter) and I both knew several members of her bridal party and didn’t find out until the day of. I learned a bit from her makeup artist, Amber Blanchard, who taught me about the nature of makeup powder and how it can be reflective under certain intensities of light. I had no idea that my flash can actually trigger shine in the powder. Even if its undetectable under normal light circumstance, due to the intensity of the light reflecting off the mica.
The Ceremony and reception took place and was catered at Casa Bianca, in Oak Ridge, NJ. Not only was cocktail hour delicious, but the staff was also friendly and accommodating. DJ services were handled by High Profile Events, which are by far one of the best DJ companies in NJ. There is a big difference felt when a DJ actually cares about the music that is being played, and this is extremely evident in their performance.
Brian and Jenn’s first Dance to Selena’s “Dreaming of You” started out beautiful and then took a surprising twist, where they swapped genres into “Found a Good One” by Chance the Rapper and broke out in an epic hip-hop performance.
At dinner, Jenn’s Cousin broke out in a lip synch performance that no one anticipated. He performed Cuban Pete from Jim Carey’s “The Mask”, and his clear attention to detail brought the entire dance floor back out from their dinner and into a raging conga line.
The night was full of joy and laughter, you could truly feel how much Jenn and Brian’s friends and family loved them. It was really an honor to be apart of such a connection.
IF YOU WERE AT JENN AND BRIAN’S WEDDING, THEN WE’VE CREATED A GUEST ALBUM WITH SOME INCRIMINATING DANCE FLOOR PHOTOS.
